Space Invader 'Keeping It Real' at MOCA
Of all the artists who are participating in MOCA's Art In The Streets, the one who is keeping it most real to what is happening on the streets is Space Invader. From getting arrested for bombing to the placement of his pieces at MOCA, Space Invader is keeping it real.
While in LA, Space Invader got up around town more than any other artist we know of in MOCA.
But not only did he hit the streets, but the way Invader got up in the gallery was true to the streets. Instead of having a single area, all of Invader's pieces were placed in the rafters and beams around the building, like it was bombed inside.
We dig this installation technique from Invader and have mad respect for the way he threw down while visiting LA.
Stay up~
