New Banksy! - Banksy Does Tox
A new Banksy piece has shown up on Banksy's website.
The new work features a stencil boy holding something in his hand (maybe a bubble blower?), that looks to be writing the bubble letters 'Tox'.
Tox is a UK graffiti artist who got up everywhere and set himself apart by hitting crazy, hard to reach spots. And he was known for having an incredibly simplistic handstyle. Tox recently got nabbed by the police, and his defense in court was that the Tox tags were so simple that anyone could be doing them.
Eine even testified in court on the behalf of Tox saying that the tags were incredibly basic and not art.
Banksy's piece clearly interacts with the storyline, as it depicts a boy, someone other than Tox, who is putting up the Tox letters. Cool stuff.
Stay up, Tox~
UPDATE: This is located in the UK on the very street where Tox is being held in jail.
