Graffiti artist/street artist/toy customizer Betso stopped by and showed us this crazy new custom character. It features the body of a bear and the rear end of a frog. The frog is a platform toy by Emilio Garcia, and the bear is a custom molded piece by Betso--but it is molded together so well that no one would ever know.
Wild piece, and amazing paint job. Betso was in town because he had a piece in the Garbage Pail Kids show at Gallery 1988, which opened yesterday. Betso sold his piece at that show, and if you dig this toy, you can pick it up at the upcoming art show at Toy Art Gallery, who just opened a new gallery on Melrose.
