MF'n Sticker Artist of 2011

MelroseandFairfax's Top Sticker Artist for 2011~

MF's 'Best Of' 2011

It is always hard to give out awards. There are so many artists who deserve recognition this year, that it is hard to select one from each category for 'M&F's Best Of 2011'. Each of the artists awarded the title earned it, but there are so many artists creating amazing art, that it is always difficult to select. Huge thanks to all the artists in 2011! And huge thanks to all the street art supporters! If there were a prize for best MF'n street art city, it would definitely go to Los Angeles!

Stay up, LA!

MF'n Sticker Artist of the Year - Smog City

A skull rising up from the fumes of pollution, Smog's subliminal message campaign for clean air quality is perfectly suited for LA, and Smog City is up everywhere in Los Angeles! From the beach to the Valley, and from Hollywood to downtown, from the East Side to your mom's house, Smog City's stickers can be found in every decaying nook and cranny of this city. In 2011 Smog has made stickers ranging from less than an inch in size all the way up to arguably the biggest production stickers seen on the streets of Los Angeles--along with thousands more in between! And Smog's street art game is well rounded. This past year Smog has also covered the city with wheat pastes and hosted successful gallery showings at Beyond Eden and C.A.V.E. Gallery in Venice. Smog has been getting up for 7 years straight and shows no signs of stopping! Congrats on gettin' up to MF'n Sticker Artist of the 2011! Stay up!

Also a congrats to many talented sticker artists this year in LA who got up BIG and earned MF'n Honorable Mentions - Asend TSF, Half LOVE Krew, Plavex, Paroh, Howe Rotting Fresh, Glaboe Grime Krew, Bankrupt Slut, Asmar, Jaber, Branded, Zombie, 455er.
