Mr. Brainwash's 'Art Show 2011' Prints - Delivered!

A hand finished prints from the show including MBW's iconic Tomato Spray Can, and 'Art is Not a Crime'!

Mr. Brainwash promised a free print to the first 300 people in line for 'Art Show 2011'. M&F went down and waited in line to score a poster, but after a lot of confusion the prints weren't ready opening night. A lot of people were upset that the prints weren't available at the show, but we think the wait was worth it.

Instead of just getting one print, the first 300 got mailed 2. The two prints just arrived. They are a smaller Tomato Spray Can with a hand finished spray and thumb print on the back, and a large print saying 'Art is Not a Crime'.

Mr. Brainwash recognized that the Tomato Spray Can is his biggest image. It is why he chose it for the show, and the reason is that he wanted to give something special back to LA. He didn't have time to hand finish the pieces before the show, which was the reason for the delay.

And the 'Art is Not a Crime' print is an awesome special bonus. MBW pulled M&F aside at 'Art Show 2011' and told us that the 'Art is Not a Crime' installation at his show was for the city of LA.

Thanks Mr. Brainwash! Stay up~

  8. The guy in charge of the prints is slow and useless. Come on, it took him like 5 hours just to get the 300 names of the people in line. And now its taking him like 2 weeks just to ship the 300 prints. MBW really needs to take a closer look at his staff, they're the reason every Brainwash event is always a mess.

  9. Dude who cares if there was some mistakes and stuff. MBW put it all on for free. He leased that place for 6 months nothing was for sale. He pretty much gave the first 300 like 500 to 800 dollars worth of art. He then mailed it to all 300 for like 10 to 12 bucks a pop. He gave a shit ton of posters out everyday and he let artists put work in the show. He must of spent somewhere in the 6 to 7 digit area all for free no one should be complaining we should be thanking him for doing such a wonderful thing for Los Angeles
