Feed the Hungry
At the same time that L2B hit the Barracuda wall, they also hit the box in front of it, placing a paster that says Feed the Hungry. It has an image of Mickey Mouse hands holding a marijuana leaf with a slice a pizza balancing on top of it. All over some cryptic writing in the background.
This piece appears to cap right over the top of a purple Virgin Mary from Free Humanity. Don't believe that Free's piece was defaced beforehand. Not sure if this is beef or just wanting a spot?
***Thanks to John Wellington Ennis for the pics***

It's right over the face! That's a cap idiot! This shit is funny! That lotus shit has to stop.
Deleteactually caps usually go on top of the head censors usually go over the face...and dont call names! be nice! if you dont have anything nice to say, then show it! sometimes they say mockery is the first sign of humanity!
Deleteseems fitting. good cap if u ask me.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
ReplyDeleteKarma's a Bitch!!!
i'm pretty sure that artist is making fun of free's diamond in the lotus pieces. it's a hand holding a flower, with a diamond shape on top.
ReplyDeleteno way i dont believe you
Deleteyall makin fun of free humanity!!!
ReplyDeletei think it is funny! creative too, I have the munchies.
ReplyDeleteI think this is hilarious parody while still being a tribute to FH. That purple Madonna was up for a while, and while that piece is great, after a few weeks, if you got something this damn inspired, fair's fair.
ReplyDeleteno one has done drug related hunger posters. i am definitely the first to start this series. but i also have a ton of other works too. literally i have ideas pouring out my ears everyday. people always talk about feeding the hungry, but we all over indulge when unnecessary. this poster is hand colored after being printed. just like kids do in coloring books, something that takes a lot of time and practice to do and master. again i hand colored this piece and is one of a kind. it probably is going to be worth a ridiculous amount of money someday since i printed and hand colored this piece myself.

ReplyDeleteI really liked that piece in front of spokes n stuff. Kind of a bummer to see it defaced. But I guess it was up for a while. LOL i guess... it aint that serious but there was room on the spaulding box you could of just hit that box instead. Leave free's art alone..
ReplyDeletefuck free humanity
DeleteCome on now...there both dumb and easy to do.....they both look like they come out of kids coloring books....there's no excitement putting up posters.....
ReplyDeleteI like the artwork I find it intelligent, well placed and it has a great message. It is the message that matters to me, not the medium. So I guess I will just be a patron on free's crusade to "free humanity"
ReplyDeletePlus it is a hell of a lot better than looking at some bland grey utility boxes that litter our views and public walkways. Cheers,
Now I am off to shine my shoes.
