What Comes Around . . . Goes Around

A couple of months ago, Fons ruffled some feathers by putting his Fonzie head over the tops of other street art pieces.

It didn't seem that it was meant so much as a cap, rather as an interaction with a different head.

Still, the artists who received a new head did not like the interaction, and after a few capped pieces back, Fons realized how others felt and apologized.

Well, not sure if this is the same thing happening in reverse, but TAG placed a sticker right over the head of Fons.  If this is related to what Fons did, he did apologize, what more can he do?

2012 Best Sticker Artist of the Year - Kings of Los Angeles~

For 2012's Best Sticker Artist of the Year, M&F is taking it old school back to the roots of graffiti.  Back in the pre-internet days, the only way to get your name known all over the city was to get up all over the city.  Those who got up city wide would be crowned Kings of Los Angeles.  Well, there are still some Kings of Los Angeles, and the Best Sticker Artist of the Year goes to 3 such Kings, Blind One & Back One UAO RK and Arson.  

Even though this award is for Sticker Artist of the Year, these are all graffiti writers who use stickers to slap tag the city.  All 3 of these artists also tag ferociously and Arson paints graffiti a lot as well, but stickers are their main medium used in smashing every corner in LA.  These artists' passion, determination, and reach can not be questioned.  Every time M&F ventured to a new area, we were continually amazed at how we would always find evidence that these artists had already rolled through.  These guys get up and hold down spots.  From Hollywood to Downtown.  From Long Beach to Chatsworth.  From Venice to Pasadena.  Walk down your block, its there.  These guys get up all over.  Literally.  Blind One, Back One, and Arson are M&F's Sticker Artists of the Year 2012 and modern Kings of Los Angeles.  Stay up!~

Massive Combo with Dancing Skeleton

A massive sticker and street art combo.  Besides the cool pieces, another cool thing about this spot is the way the skeleton postal sticker has been ripped.  It was ripped so that when the wind blows, the skeleton would flap up and down, like a dancing skull face.

To Live, Die and Go All-City in LA

Blind and Back UAO RK get up everywhere in Los Angeles.  Seriously, take a walk around your block--wherever you live in LA, and you will probably see a sticker or a tag from these uber-prolific graffiti writers.

Blinder and Back One have definitely gone All City, and this sticker gives a shout out to LA.  Its a good motto--To live, die, and get up everywhere in LA~

This sticker was spotted deep in Porn Valley, past the 118.

This might be an old slap tag because the red is completely faded off the postal sticker and the crews that Blinder reps are ILG and UOR, which he doesn't put up as much anymore.
