Banksy Is Not The Graffiti Guerilla
A banner was unfurled on the Mr. Brainwash Oscar themed wall, but it didn't last long. Click the jump below for more of this exclusive
A massive banner saying 'Banksy is Not the Graffiti Guerilla' was put up over the Oscar statue on the Mr. Brainwash wall.
We are just a little puzzled by this because as far as we know, nobody ever said he was the graffiti guerilla.
Not sure how long the banner lasted. It was taken down minutes after this shot was snapped.
Big thanks to Casey for being at the right spot at the right time and sending us this pics. Casey reported that she snapped this shot while driving in her car. And when she tried to swing around two minutes later, the banner had already been taken down.
For those interested in seeing Mr. Brainwash's Oscar themed Star Wars filled wall, it is located at S. La Brea just before Pico.

Bansky?
ReplyDeleteProbably the same loser from the "Let He/She Learn How To Use Photoshop Before Making Street Art" post. More than likely, its another bitter graffiti writer trying to be a "street artist".
ReplyDeleteNice...
ReplyDeleteIf you live in LA, you know the real Graffiti Guerrilla is Joe Connolly, the millionaire who spends all of his time cleaning graff in LA. I wonder if this has something to do with him.
ReplyDeleteThis wall has been painted over as of today. It's all black again (except for MBW's name on the left side of the door). It can't stay black for too long. Be prepared for an updated wall soon!
