Pray For Japan
The tragedy in Japan is horrific, and we are sending out our best wishes to all those affected.
We found these pieces saying 'Pray For Japan' on a store front window on Melrose, and hope that the nuclear reactor gets under control and all the survivors can try to start putting their lives back together.
And, not to get political, but this should be a major warning about using nuclear power. Time and time again, when a tragedy happens, like this, or the BP oil spill, sure the earthquake and the hurricane were terrible, but the worst part of the disaster, and the biggest threat to humans, was the destabilization of the man-made things. For the safety of all of the planet, the more we can focus on green, sustainable energy, the better off we will be.
But for now, we hope that the millions of people in Japan who are without the basic necessities can get what they need to survive, and recover without any further damage.

love this a lot, im glad at least someone out there is showing their love. Much respect for this.
ReplyDeleteAmen.
ReplyDeleteNice gesture, but don't pray for japan. Fucking donate money or goods to help the victims. Do more than tell god to look out for them, he has already been caught slipping on that job.....
