A few weeks ago we posted about how we needed a new skateboard. Well, the generosity of some folks is amazing, and an anonymous donor reached out to a friend of ours, and through that friend hooked M&F up with a new longboard!
This really means a lot, and the timing couldn't be better as times have been a little bit tight. We have not received payment for the gallery show we recently curated, and that has thrown a lot of things for a loop. So this hook up was timely, and absolutely incredible.
It was so nice as this friend treated us to an awesome day really expressed how he, the anonymous donor, and a lot of people really appreciate what we do on the blog, and sharing LA's street art with the world. It was really nice to hear that, and we spent the day searching for the exact model as before, and hit 4 different skate shops on the hunt. But when we weren't able find the exact board, we instead got this new ride. Hit Melrose for the first time with it this morning, and the performance is amazing. So watch out! MelroseandFairfax has new ride! And keep an eye out for some yellow wheels chasing down some street art in an area near you!
