THEFL - Evolution of Art
THEFL might just perhaps be one of the most 'street' artists on the street. Most of his pieces are painted live on the street. He doesn't plan out what he is going to do, and he utilizes any and every available paint type and incorporates many different mediums into his pieces. THEFL goes big and paints a lot of murals, and, from what we understand, he doesn't plan pieces out in advance but paints what inspires him in the moment. All of this is made more impressive by the fact that most of his pieces are unsanctioned, true street pieces.
THEFL also keeps the art fresh and keeps developing new styles. Here are pictures from two consecutive pieces that THEFL did at the same spot a week apart. The first 3 shots are of the current new piece, and the last pic is of the former mural, which THEFL said he felt was too busy for the location. The spot used to be a chunk of the Snyder/Gregory mural, but it had recently been hit up with a bunch of pastes and tags. THEFL says that he placed his piece pointing towards Snyder's Rocket Boy and in the same pose to work with the piece that was there. Dig it~
And that is THEFL's dog Enzo in the first shot. Stay up, Enzo!
