Snyder - Banksy Tribute Installation
A tribute and a street art lesson~
Snyder just installed a tribute piece to Banksy at the Cardiff Kook statue in Carlsbad.
Snyder says that the piece is not just a tribute piece, it is also a 'lesson' on the current art movement of street art, which is, as Snyder points out on Carlsbad Crawl, the largest art movement the world has ever experienced.
Snyder really is one of the most cognizant artists who is aware of the role street art plays, and this is yet another fine example.
Dig it~
