Sometimes, Collaborations Look Like Crap
Often times, street artists like to collaborate on walls. Sometimes, the end effect is awesome, but more often than not it looks like crap.
Sometimes, things can look cool on their own, and look bad when put together. Since M&F tries not to be too harsh towards LA artists, we will take a pot shot and use this anonymous mural from Miami as an example.
What is going on here? Each of these images might look good on their own, and the artist(s) have even done a decent job framing the entire piece with balanced owls, but taken altogether, it is just a confused mess of imagery. It makes no sense, and looks worse together, as do many collaborative walls.
Anyway, this wall still beats a blank white wall anyday.
Stay up, Miami~
