We Come In Peace
New panel from Plastic Jesus on Melrose entitled 'We Come in Peace'.
Plastic Jesus aims to mock the irony of sending heavily armed military forces into battle to 'make peace'. Plastic Jesus this comes from personal experience. He says, 'I have spent time in Bosnia, Kosovo, Haiti and experienced the UN peacekeepers at work. They ride around in expensive brand new SUVs, staying in well equipped Air conditioned accomodation, whilst those they are sent to protect often live in poverty.'.
Dig it. Sometimes you've got to fight for peace but the military itself is not a peaceful option.
