This crusty old building on the South side of downtown Los Angeles is so old that it looks crusty like the dingleberries on your mom's thong.  But the old age and crustiness add character and a unique canvas for some bad ass graffiti bombing.

Teacher - Merging the Streets with the Fine Art World

Teacher is bringing the streets of Los Angeles to the fine art world.

This is the first in a series where Teacher plans to make a fine art paintings based on real street pieces.  Teacher says that he likes to use animals to represent the spirit of the graffiti pieces.

This first in this series is an acrylic painting is entitled 'Graf King' and it features one of LA's graffiti kings Besto, aptly paired with the King of the Jungle, a pair of lions.

Old Brainwash Building Slammed

The old building that this time last year was hosting Mr. Brainwash's Art Show 2011 is currently undergoing some massive construction.  And the skeleton of the old building keeps getting smashed with more and more graffiti.
