Art is Shit

Some people say that 'Art is Shit', and the person who took this massive public sidewalk diarrhea dump next to Insa's building in downtown Los Angeles might agree.

But for those of us at M&F, and many who are more cultured enough to defecate indoors feel that art is 'cool shit'.  Like the rest of the stuff scattered around this building.

Insa recently rolled through town, and left this sticker on Fairfax.

Breakin' Down Walls

This graffiti piece is busting out of the wall.

Think its from Norm.

This is in the alley way behind Fairfax. We went to snap a pic of the Insa/Revok piece, but it appears the wall has been buffed already.

Anyone know the story on that?

Insa on Melrose

This is a hard one to get a photo of, but we love this Insa piece up top on De La Barracuda.

Love Me--De La Barracuda

The De La Barracuda wall is arguably one of LA's most active and entertaining canvases.

Although it now hosts a Shepard Fairey installation and Rebel 8 and Shark Toof posters, discovered these pictures going over some old files and had to post it.

Really love this pic. The Love Me is juicy. The Skullphone pastes up top are peeling beautifully. And the Insa piece to the side is one of our favorite walls on Melrose.
