Save the Drama for Yo' Mama - Legal Eagle Wall Beef is for the Birds

Its funny.  Ask anyone.  There is more beef around legal eagle walls than there is on the streets.

That's probably because the streets patrol themselves, while the specific mural guidelines are still being worked out.

Here is a funny situation in Korea Town, where a graffiti writer was jealous and bothered that another writer was getting some hype, so the one artist completely buffed out the legal wall mural from the other artist.

Not even a cap (as it would be on the streets) but a full buff.  Its kind of funny when stuff like this happens.

Riding above it all remains a burner from Jaber and a bird from Espy.  Save the drama for your momma--legal eagle beef is for the birds!

Un Solo Ilegal Paga Mas Taxes Que - General Electric

Sticker saying 'Un Solo Ilegal Paga Mas Taxes Que'.  Believe it translates to mean 'I am illegal and I pay more taxes than you' with the General Electric logo underneath.

Its true.  With tax holes and tax havens, major corporations are paying less percentage in taxes than the American people.  Even the 'illegal' immigrants are paying more than the 'legal' loophole jumping corporations.

Living wages above corporate vacations, and people over profits.

Stay up~

Interactive Map of Illegal Billboards in Los Angeles

The city of Los Angeles finally compiled a list of all the billboards in Los Angeles.  From that info, KCET compiled an interactive map for online viewers to check out.

It is interesting to note that over 1/3 of all billboards in LA have possible code violations, and a full 10% of billboards have no permit on file.

Some street artists might feel vindicated in hitting some of these illegal billboards.  It would be nice if the city changed its focus and started prosecuting street artists and started going after the corporate criminals.  Guess that might happen once street artists start giving campaign contributions.

But seriously, it would be nice if LA quit persecuting street artists and started going after the real neighborhood vandals--illegal billboards.

You can read the full info on LA's illegal billboards HERE.
