MoMo Collective Presents 'The Hero Test'

Are you a hero or a coward?

Great new pieces of street art from the MoMo Collective featuring mirrors that are placed in public spaces and an arrow pointing to either side. One side is a hero, the other, a coward.

We have often said that the most successful kind of street art encourages people to look at things differently--and this project sure seems to accomplish that.

Dig it. So, do you pass the hero test?

  1. Sooo... u look in the mirror, walk one way or another and that makes you a hero or a coward? ... Dont get it, seems stupid. Nothing even clever about it.

  2. Yeah but on the Hero side there is a Neon Tiger with Rocket Claws that you have to defeat to save the Princess to get to level 2. Coward gets to just hop in a tube, skips to level 5.

I think if the mirror can cause at least one person to question their circumstances, sans the directional arrows, then mission accomplished. We never know what will affect us on a certain day.

    Keep creating creators.

  4. If this is deep some folks have the mentality of a shallow creek. I wish we could see more of the art with the red frames... what looks like a person with dots. Looks more interesting then the black , handled mirror next to it.

  5. Yeah, I saw one of the mirrors on Melrose the other day. I don't think it's meant to be deep, just a suggested moment of self reflection. Ha...I did decide that I was a hero most of the time. Also, it made me remember a time I didn't help this oId dude I saw fall. That shit set aside, I like the framed pictures of butt plugs too.
