Sand One - Schoolin'
Sand One gave an instructional graffiti demonstration and taught kids how to work with spray paint at a cool arts program in East Los Angeles last weekend.
Each week, Self Help Graphics in Boyle Heights has an Aerosol Workshop, and last week Sand One was the guest instructor.
It was really awesome hearing about this program. All too often graffiti has a bad connotation, but with more and more programs like this, it is starting to become celebrated as an art form. You can see in the pics below that these kids are really doing some cool things.
Dig it. Stay up~
***Big thanks to Nanette Gonzales for the story and sending in the pics!***
