Teacher - Practice What You Teach

Because street art resides in the gray area of legality, it might seem like an unlikely place to find a role model.  But if the genre were to have a role model, it would be Teacher.  Teacher's art from his name to his purpose to his practicing what he preaches is always on point.

M&F has said it before and we will say it again, not only is Teacher an amazing artist, but he is an incredible human being.  Teacher repeatedly goes above and beyond to help people any way he can, and he uses his art, and what he does to make the world a better place.

Teacher truly lives his art, and Teach got a chance to practice what he preaches when he recently guest taught 3 separate art classes at San Jacinto High School.  Teacher showed over 100 students how to make a street art stencil using his unique fiberglass window frame technique.

It is clear in the pics that the students drank up this knowledge like sand in the desert does water.  The kids are starving for more art in school.  And it is pretty awesome that Teacher got a chance to teach a little art, and give the kids a little hope.

  1. big thanks to M&F for the kindness and helping to spread the word.

if a picture is worth a thousand words, then teaching art could be one of the best ways to teach peace.
