Pics From 'What Graffiti is to New York - Street Art is to Los Angeles' -- Alec
FInally got a bunch of pics from 'What Graffiti is to New York - Street Art is to Los Angeles', and here are Alec's pieces for the show.
Alec's resin coated Monopoly Man on musical paper was a big hit and was the first piece to sell. It sold before the opening, before all the pieces were even hung on the wall. The piece was hugely popular and would have sold a few times over if there were more. Alec is really taking off.
And Alec also created an exclusive colorway of his 'Jack' featuring Jack Nicholson for the show. Apparently, Jack himself recently complimented Alec's rendition.
Right now Alec is in London getting ready for his solo show L.E.G.E.N.D., and its sure to be a hit like his previous shows in New York and Miami. Note: Since Alec is out of the country, there will be a delay in getting the prints signed. Contact the gallery for details.
