The Front Lines - OWS May 1st General Strike
These might not be the ones to pull off a full revolution, but these are the soldiers.
M&F headed downtown to check out the front lines of the May 1st General Strike.
Between 12-2 there was not much action, the highlight being when the LAPD arrested a homeless person on the sidewalk for seemingly no reason. While he was being arrested, a dozen or so protestors called the cops names, until someone with a megaphone calmed the crowd saying "Don't feed the Trolls".
There were probably more cops on the streets today than there were pedestrians.
There was supposed to be a big march to arrive at the intersection of Main and 6th, but it had not yet culminated. More to come!
