Banksy - So Fresh, the Paint's Still Wet!
Indeed, it seems like the earlier story where someone almost caught Banksy painting this piece is legit.
The paint is still so wet that the paint is still fresh!
The paint writing looks to be applied with thick paint marker, which takes awhile to dry. It also means that Banksy free-handed the text.
Cool find by 'Yommers', who says he is never washing his hands again!
(If a Banksy piece is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, how much is a dab of paint worth? A few hundred bucks, surely? Lol)

If These Walls Could Talk . . . They'd Say There is A LOT of Paint on Here!
The Venice Beach graffiti walls are some of the busiest in the world.
There is always painting at these walls. Much of the time, as soon as one piece is finished, a new piece gets painted over it at the same spot.
All of this paint put onto the wall accumulates over time until the paint actually becomes inches deep. Well, M&F got an exclusive and fascinating look at the myriad of paint layers laid down at Venice Beach.
Some cool pics in this feature. Dig it~

Graffiti Class is In Session
Fairfax High School is probably one of the only public schools in the nation with a graffiti program that is taught at the school.
Not sure if this is from class or from extra-curricular activities, but here is an empty can of Ironlak paint spotted outside Fairfax.

Random Act's Work of Art Arm Round 2
And here is Round 2 of Random Act's ever-evolving art on her casts.
Here she starts to incorporate little wheat pastes, maps, and a little saying that says 'Smile - it makes your day brighter as well as those around you.'
Dig it~

Death of a Stencil
Over time the cuts and holes that make up the image of a stencil will begin to fill and clog with paint. This signifies the death of the stencil.
Teacher's 'Peace Through Paint' stencil has had a long productive life with over 40 sprays being utilized before it started clogging. Here is the last street stencil of Teach's 'Peace Through Paint' stencil, with close up pics of how the paint is starting to fill in the screen.
Rest In Peace (and Paint!)~

Gregory
Hand. Eat. Face.
American flag.
Write her name.
(on the left) Do you know me yet? Just sent your eyes. And(on the right), You will lose and lose. Don't stop. One day you will win.
Cut off your hurt. It hurts better.
