Teacher Hits a Fire Truck

Teacher goes crazy and hits up a LA Fire Department fire truck with a new sticker.

Teacher's sticker is the grey circular one, and, Teacher says it is not disrespectful, but he thought it contributed something to the truck.

The sticker says 'In Odd We Trust', which references the cuts in the education budget. If that's what we are believing in, or trusting in, then that's odd.

Since the sticker seems to fit the spirit of the truck, wonder if will stay?

  1. As a volunteer fireman, I find this one pushing it a bit. I like the message, and it pertains to the service budget cuts as well. There are going to be fewer trucks and engines on the streets in coming months. Its sad.

That is going to have to be cleaned off as our trucks are inspected. Someone is going to have to take time out of our cleaning process to buff that off. I can appreciate it (not the placement) but the guys in my station would find that in bad form. Don't hit someone's home. We spend plenty of time in those trucks to consider it as such.

  2. dear volunteer fireman, first of all thank you so much for being a volunteer fireman. with the budget cuts coming, people like you are going to be even more important and i am eternally grateful.
this particular type of sticker will come off easily and won't leave any residue. it wasn't done to be disrespectful but after reading your comment, i see that it can be taken that way and promise not to do it again. thanks again for your service to our community and i hope you accept my apology.

  5. Agree 100%. Firefighters do nothing but save lives, and now they have to take the time to clean this crap off.
Teacher has alot of learning to do.

  6. the dumbass that wrote agree 100% obviously has a lot of learning to do because 'alot' is not even a word and taking a sticker off takes about two seconds.

  7. This is not cool at all. This just shows that Teacher has no respect for people who saves lives like someone said earlier. This Teacher needs some detention or even expulsion.

  8. Volunteer fireboy, first off let me start by congratulating you on seeing a picture of a fire truck and ceasing the opportunity to announce that you are a volunteer firefighter! Your humble intentions are clear
Second, if your employed peers decide to take a minute and thirty second from their already scheduled cleaning and maintenance time to remove a sticker, im sure our communities will be fine.
OR maybe they could just leave it on! Then 100% of the time can be filled with strictly firefighter related activity!

  9. Volunteer firemen are awesome. They are the true real life super heroes.
And I like this sticker here. It seems to support the same things that the firemen are protecting. More money for schools. And more money for Fire Departments. Less money for prisons. Thank you.

  10. Small town kid here. Nothing but Volunteer Firemen where I'm from. This little ass sticker is nothing to get your undies in a bunch about. I do think sticking it to a cop would be funnier & ballsier. The consequences are far greater if a cop catches you! You have go through getting cuffed, jail, court,& fines. What's a fireman gonna do if he catches you? Have sex with your sister?

  11. As a volunteer break dancer this really breaks my heart. I've been breaking on the blocks of LA for years. I was putting down my cardboard this morning and saw this truck, sticker and all. I cried for 20 minutes, realizing that a fireman will most likely have to peel the sticker off. If any of you want to help, please visit your local fire dept and say, "around the clock, we're not gonna stop, we be break dancin on the block". They'll know what you mean, and will most likely give you a thumbs up.

  12. I wonder if there are any stats on crime and fires, reported by artists? Just seems like an obvious partnership.
