More Street Art Cut Out Of Walls, Cops, And A Big Crowd
Maybe there is something in the air when a new Banksy piece goes up.
But, today in Los Angeles on Robertson and 3rd, a fresh new piece of street art was attempted to be cut out.
The piece was a stencil featuring a boy peeing some purple paint. We have already covered the piece on the blog.
The culprit did not get away with the piece out of the wall, but the attempted thieves did hack up the wall before giving up on the piece.
The scene drew quite a crowd and the building owner and police showed up to check it out.
***Big thanks to Brooke Z for sending in the pics and the story***

ReplyDeleteMX.
pretty sure that is a stencil artist from SF.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they didn't get away with it. It's probably the same assholes that cut out the previous piece that rode that spot for years.
ReplyDeleteI believe K74 is the artist.
clearly some tard thought it was BANKSY.....
ReplyDeleteThese are my photos! Love that you posted them. Big fan of the artwork and website (Thanks for Brooke).
