What Rain? - JR Still Gets Up
The fact that it rained in LA didn't stop JR from thrusting forward with his art.
JR spent the day pasting another building, even though it was wet.
This is unusual because the rain usually gets in the way of wheat pasting. We are curious as to what methods he employed to keep pastes this big up on a wall like this when it is raining? Click the jump for more action shots of the mural in progress
Really love JR's aesthetic. It will be interesting to watch these wall as they age.
Big thanks to Brett Boston for the pictures!

Loving it. Thanks for posting these.
ReplyDeleteThe main ingredient in the french wall paper paste JR uses (similar to wheat paste) is water. Now figure it out...
