TBD & Thrashbird
Ever since the artwork first started showing up, rumors have been circulating that TBD and Thrashbird and one and the same artist.
Still, the artist or artists compromising TBD and Thrashbird have wanted to keep things separate.
TBD and Thrashbird each has its own aesthetic, with TBD more photo-oriented and Thrashbird focusing more on stencils. But bottom line, both TBD and Thrashbird are two of the most active artists up on the streets of LA. Combine the work of the two together, and there really is no one who has gotten up as much in LA over the past year or so. (including Phone Jacks!).
M&F chooses to indulge the idea that these two are separate, because that's what the artist wants. Just like with Banksy, sometimes the romance can be more fun than the truth. But perhaps that line is blurring, as the two are getting up at shared spots like never before, and the one pictured in this feature.
Stay up!

God is an Asshole, and Weirdos are Everywhere
This dude walked up on M&F as we were taking pictures. He wanted to tell us how graffiti is ruining this city and how God is what makes LA great.
M&F listened to what the dude had to say, and then gave him our viewpoint. God is an asshole, and street art and graffiti are what make a vibrant urban area like LA special. If you don't like the urban elements, you can move to the suburbs in Anywhere, USA.
Not that this dude was convinced, but after hearing our viewpoint the guy did change tactics and point to the wall and mention how he does like Fonze. Once people look at street art, even weirdo haters can appreciate.
Anyways, there are weirdos everywhere in Los Angeles. Its another element of living in a busy urban environment. But check out the wierdos in the pics below. In this piece from TBD, life seems to be going on as normal, except there is one dude who is strangely garbage diving.
Check out the pics of more weirdoes in LA below:

"If You Were --'This Tall'-- You Could Be My Girlfriend"
Haha. A dude standing with his hand over the girl as if to say 'If you were this tall, you could be my girlfriend'.
Better find someone who can measure up soon, dude. As the paster from TBD says to the right, 'Sex is Coming' then 'Death is Coming'.
Just be like the Nomatter Whatness piece and get your kissing on.
Before death is coming, better get some 'cumming' in first. And by the way, short girls are sexiest~

Street Art is Like a Newspaper
Street art is kind of like a newspaper, and a lot of people check sites like M&F instead of traditional newspapers these days.
Dig it. M&F keeps bringing the freshest news from the streets, like this comboed out smashed up dumpster. With tags, stickers and art from TBD, Man Beast, Bucks, 455er, Atack, Tamer, Fuzz USC, Half, Donk, Xplode, Evious, AUB, CBS, DCV, MTA, WCA and much more, including a tranny stencil on newspaper itself from Thrashbird.
