Burn One x Bankrupt Slut -- In Korea!

Fuck yeah.  Burn One is taking LA's street art to Asia and the world~

Two of LA's stalwart street artists, Burn One and Bankrupt Slut, just got their collab pasted on the other side of the globe--in Korea!  Posted up by Burn One.

Interesting to note how the graffiti tagging in Korea is still done in English.

Dig it.  Stay up!

Golden

A Bankrupt Slut/Burn One combo piece got vandalized, and then repaired.

This slut must be puffing on some Earwax with a G Pen cause she is golden on Golden Apple.

People Like Their Own Heads

Sometimes one street artist will interact with another street artist's piece by putting their piece over the original.   It is not necessarily meant as a cap, but as an interaction.

However, people like their own heads, and to the artist who had the original piece, they might not like the 'interaction' so much and do see it as a cap.

Fons has been 'interacting' with pieces on Melrose by putting his Fons head over them in a way that does essentially cap the piece, like with this shot of Fons going over a Burn One piece.

One of Burn's homeboy's, Wil, let Fons know that the head cap was not appreciated by face capping of his own on multiple pieces from Fons at the same location.

Old Brainwash Building Gets Bombed!

The building where Mr. Brainwash hosted his 'Art Show 2011' has remained a hot bed for art even after the exhibition has closed.

Mr. Brainwash might have invited street artists of all ages, types, and skill levels to participate in the show, but graffiti writers don't need an invitation.  The building is completely bombed out, especially the windows.  This is at a busy city intersection, so any piece on this building scores extra points for being at a hot location.

Bombs from Sorb, Ana, Pike, Yanoe, ROHO, Klozer, Eyerek, Roh, and many more.

Don't Play It Safe

Burn One gets up all over Los Angeles.  Last year, when some artists were complaining about the streets being so busy that there weren't any spots left, Burn One laughed at that idea and said "The city is a big place!"
