Billboard Takeover- Teach Each, Or I Will
Huge new billboard takeover from Teacher entitled 'Teach Each - Or I Will'.
Teacher says that he painted the letters of 'teach each' with a brush to look faded and washed out as if to represent the fading of the education budget. The letters 'or i will...' and the three dots are done gang style to represent that we may not like who ends up doing the teaching if the education budget continues to diminish.
Dope street art, and a great message. And, this billboard is freaky high.
Dig it. Stay up~

Still not diggin Teacher. His style is weak, and his message gets lost in the weak art.
ReplyDeleteBest piece yet - the explanation of your process to create this message really seals the deal for me. Thanks for this - hopefully that camera in the third photo didn't catch you though...

The message here only makes sense after it's been explained. And I don't know how smart it is to be mimicking gang graffiti. Fortunately he didn't do a very good job of it.
ReplyDeleteTeachers style is not that impressive plus the name is real bad
