Snyder's Van Gogh Tribute (Before the Buff!)
Snyder composed another annual piece to honor Vincent Van Gogh. This new work is a multi part stencil featuring a stencil of some flowers, and a Van Gogh character walking off with a cut out and spray can.
This piece was short lived and got buffed within an hour of going up.
Pics courtesy of Snyder, along with this attached quote.
"... we have to go into the side streets. In addition to having our work constantly before the public, we would be making it possible for the poor people of Paris to see good art" (Stone, 350).
