Dog Byte Gets Snatched

Before . . .

After . . .

Dog Byte's Ducking the Truth wheatpaste installation on Santa Monica Blvd was a smashing success. It ran for months undisturbed, right in a prime spot in West Hollywood- typically a no-go zone for street art.

Apparently some individual(s) liked it so much, they ripped it down to take it home.

You can tell the nature of the buff by the evidence that's left. If it had been buffed by the owner, it would have been painted over. If it had been buffed by the city, it would have been painted over badly. When the actual frame is ripped off piecemeal with part left there to remain, it seems that the work is from an over zealous fan.
