Cyrcle goes big and gets pasted on Hollywood Blvd, but some hater came along and scawled 'Brand' in red paint across the pasters.
Even though there are two big LA graffiti writers who write some form of 'bran' (Branded RTH and Bran One RTH), this doesn't appear to be by either of them. It could be a new writer named brand, or, more likely it is someone talking shit to Cyrcle for being a clothing brand.
In this current time, it can be a fine line between street artist and brand. Some things are clearly marketing, but the Cyrcle campaign seems to be much more like Obey. Sure, it is a clothing line, but it is rooted in the streets.
Curious to hear what people think the rules of engagement are concerning are/clothing collectives on the streets? Leave a comment and say what's up.
cyrcle is cliché and bran is not from rth, he is trb.

Cyrcle makes amazing art. End of story. The brand they have is only an extension of their business. Nothing wrong with making money when one has the talent to back it up. If Cyrcle made their fame off of singing a Rihanna cover on Youtube or by sucking cock and filming it for all the internet to see, I would be a little less inclined to support their work. Keep. It. Up.

Cyrcle doesn't make amazing "art." There are people that make great art and deserve more recognition, Euth for example. Whomever wrote "brand" over cyrcle had the right idea. It's too bad that the culprit may not be found, that person deserves props!
