MELROSEandFAIRFAX has Hustle & Flow
MELROSEandFAIRFAX has Hustle & Flow writer and producer, Craig Brewer, as part of the community.
We hadn't seen Hustle & Flow, so we Netflixed it, and, in our humble opinion, it is one of the best movies we have ever seen.
It is a wonderful roller coaster ride of the ups and downs following the path of a pimp and struggling (music) artist, and what he goes through on the way to trying to make it big. The story line is enthralling and the characters are real. It really is masterfully done, and we highly recommend it it to anyone.
Craig told us that he started paying attention to street art when he saw some hot girls snap a picture of some street art. He became interested in street art, and attended the recent Destroy All Heds art show. It is awesome having such a talented member involved in LA's street art community, and we dream of the day when a street art movie will come out that is nearly as cool as Hustle & Flow. Thanks for the kind words and for being part of the MELROSEandFAIRFAX family, Craig. That was an awesome movie~
You can follow Craig Brewer and see some of his street art flicks at his blog MYBREWTUBE
