Bert - Street Art Meets Surf Art
Another fresh new piece from surf-street artist, Bert.
This one is themed on the ASP WCT event in Bali, but essentially Joel Parkinson beat Michel Bourez, aka Spartan, in the final to win the event. The trophy he earned is of a colorful wood carved Bali warrior face. In the piece Joel stands is triumph while holding his Oakley Bali Pro trophy over his face, a Balinese wood dagger in one hand and his foot is placed upon a defeated Spartan helmet.
Very cool. There is a lot of crossover between street culture and surf culture, and this piece works as both. To check out Bert's full gallery, or to stay updated on Bert's latest street art surf escapades, check out Bert's website.
Surf's up, and stay up bruh!
