For Better or Worse, the Traction Art Wall is Back!

A lot of people seem to prefer a mural on a wall to a jumbled collective art wall.  True.  Murals are awesome and we do love seeing them around, however, there are not many locations where street artists can get up without stressing about getting busted by the police.

This Traction wall has been endorsed by the owner of the building who likes the art, and it is arguably the only spot in LA that is somewhat of a free-wall to get up on.  The wall is so big that even a big piece does not typically dominate it, and the pieces are forced to interact with each other.  Even it it can get cluttered at times, this is one of the most active walls in LA.  It might get messy, but it is constantly changing (like nightly!) with new fresh art.  The constant change is why we love art walls like this.

There are plenty of placees for murals in LA, but there this is the only art wall.  In our book, it is definitely a good thing to have the Traction Art Wall back!
