MELROSEandFAIRFAX is More Entertaining than Your Television
Yup yup. M&F is more entertaining than your television. And sometimes, you might get both!
A sticker combo'd out television has been left at the intersection of Melrose and Fairfax. Riding with all kinds of action from Stashr, Task 42, Gee Funk, Lethal Amounts, Skullphone, Nightmare Air, Dirt Cobain, Ahh'd Art, and more.
Stay up!

Nobody Watches Television Anymore
Its strange, but nobody younger than your parents watches television anymore. At least not without a DVR.
So what are people watching? Like Wil's character pasted up on Melrose, he learned from watching it on Youtube.

Warning - May Cause Permanent Damage to Your Vision
Karupt paints a new piece on Melrose with a zombified dude from watching too much television.
Dig the way that the letters mutate out of the TV.

Morley Featured on TV -- Again!
Morley just got a cameo feature on another television show. Once would be a huge honor for any artist, but this is the 2nd time a show has gone live on air with a Morley piece on TV.
The first Morley television piece was a few years ago on Workaholics--which turned out to be a hilarious show. This new Morley spotting is on a new TV show from Amazon called Betas. That's right, Amazon is making TV shows now. If Betas turns out like Workaholics, it might be wise to start keeping an eye out for a Morley piece as a sign of a hit TV show.
You can check out the episode of Beta's featuring Morley's art HERE. Morley's art can be seen about 30 seconds in.

The Teller Morrow Club from Sons of Anarchy
While searching for street art in the Valley, M&F stumbled upon the Teller Morrow Automotive Center.
This location serves as home base for the SAMCRO in the hit docu-drama Sons of Anarchy. Anyone who watches the show will recognize the spot.
But where's the motorcycle parking?

TV's Not Teach Us
Teacher gets up with a new piece entitled 'Teach Us Too'.
It features a television takeover with 2 of Teacher's Malala--the young women's right activist who was shot for her efforts in Pakistan placed over the screen saying 'Teach Us Too'.
Teacher always tries to pick a relevant spot for his art, and this is placed on an electrical box right across the street from Fairfax High School.

Thank You, but, No Thank You
A massive Thank You Andy Warhol piece of street art from 'X' got mostly buffed atop this tremendous construction site. You can still see the top of Andy's head and 'Thank'.
Apparently the building owners wanted the spot for their own advertising. 'Who is on Piers Morgan tonight?" Shoot, we didn't even know that Piers was on! (or who the hell Piers even is!)

John Wellington Ennis - One Dude's Quest to Save Democracy

The contributors to MELROSEandFAIRFAX stood on the opposite end of the camera today when we were interviewed by John Wellington Ennis.
John has long been interested in street art-especially stickers. He currently puts up the Obama/Adama stickers around town, and was also behind the famous 'Giuliani is a Jerk' stickers that even made it on the Beastie Boys' guitar during a performance on Saturday Night Live.
John interviewed us for his current project . . .
