Freebies - Sticker Pack from Skam

It is really cool to see how far the sticker world reaches, and how there are fans of MELROSEandFAIRFAX all over, and we just got a piece of Portland.

We had a lot of fun opening this fat sticker pack from Portland street artist, Skam.

Skam is a big name in the sticker world. He participates in nearly every sticker event, and has stickers all over the US through trades. He has done many collabs including work with Robots Will Kill, Subs, 455er, and Bride.

We even discovered one of Skam's stickers here on the streets of LA way back in 2009. And his stuff was all over peel.

Not only did the pack have a grip of Skam stickers, but also Portland's top sticker artists including Johnny Tradgedy, Full Bleed, Nasty Nate, Mr. Say Skev and more.

Inept Sticker Pack

Got a dope sticker pack from Inept.

MelroseandFairfax has been big fans of Inept's work ever since we settled in LA. Inept does not employ celebrities or depend of recycled popular culture adds for his art. Inept almost stands alone putting out completely original pieces of art on the streets. And when he gets up, Inept always seems to get highest.

As with his work on the streets, Inept packages these stickers with quality and professionalism.

And be sure to check out Inept's upcoming art show 'Urban Iconography' at Pedersen Projects on October 9th. Inept will be joined by Smog City, Euth, and Shark Toof for a group show not to be missed!

Where's My Hippo? Sticker Pack

MelroseandFairfax just received a dope sticker pack from Herbert C. Hippo, and the crew over at Where's My Hippo.

We've been fans of Herbert for a long time and love seeing his happy face in cool spots around town. Its even cooler to have these massive 5" stickers of Herbert chillin in the home~

And we especially love the back of the Where's My Hippo animal cracker themed card. Growing up, the family used to sit around the table quizzing each other on the nutritional info of cereal boxes- and seeing the format brought to street art is awesomely nostalgic.
