Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Teacher dedicates a street piece to wishing LA a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hung at the top of Laurel Canyon, Teacher's custom wood made and hand painted four leaf clover joins his Malala stencil which has been riding on the box for months on end.

Cool to see how the Malala box has been decorated with a dream catcher.

Stay up, go get yo' drink on!  and Happy St. Patrick's Day!~

Street Art Minds Think Alike

While maybe not so great, it can definitely be said that street art minds think alike.

M&F got sent this picture from contributor Keith, and the reason we posted it is because the exact same thought goes through our head every time we pass this sign for Snyder Realty heading down Laurel Canyon.  Those with a street art mind set read this sign and will probably also think about the street artist Snyder.

The sign might as well be for the street artist, because as soon as you hit Los Angeles out of the mouth of Laurel Canyon, you are in the territory of Snyder Realty.  Just look at the streets.

Stay up~

Painted Rock

A painted orange rock sits atop a stack of rocks from 'The Rocker' up Laurel Canyon.

In front of a mural from Man Beast and graffiti from Larey PL breaking in a new spot in the background.

The Rocker

M&F contributor Keith was driving up Laurel Canyon when he chanced upon the man who has been mysteriously stacking these pyramid rock formations along the road.

Street art comes in all shapes and forms, and Keith has dubbed this atypical street artist 'The Rocker'.

Balancing Act

Some cool 'natural' street art with rocks balanced on top of each other.

Spotted at the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Mulholland Drive.

Moses and His Boom Box

This multi-layered stencil of Moses up Laurel Canyon is arguably one of our favorite pieces of street art of all time.

That piece has been gone for a long time (and the spot up Laurel is now in good hands with Dog Byte's 'Filth Mouth'), but here is a shot of the same piece on a garage front in Robertson.

From K74. (Last we heard, K74 was putting up some art in Palestine. That was 2 years ago and we haven't seen anything new in LA since. Anyone know what happened to K74?)

***Big thanks to Tam Truong for the support and pics!***

Dog Byte in Laurel Canyon

Half way between North Hollywood and West Hollywood up Laurel Canyon is this spot --its one of our absolute favorites in LA (even though its a hard place to snap a picture of!)

Well, this is the best shot we could get. The pic doesn't do the piece justice, but what better way to be welcomed into Hollywood than with a sexy mouth full of pills?

Hollywood Forever~
