Banksy on Broadway - Closer Look Hammer Boy

Banksy's newest piece, 'Hammer Boy', got located and found immediately.  Its on Broadway. And the red hydrant part of the piece has already filled up with postal stickers from local artists.

Another instant favorite amongst Banksy lovers.  However, this piece will definitely have Banksy fanatics muttering about problems with the feet.

A Boy, a Skateboard, and a Dog

Yup.  If you have a dog, on a skateboard is the best way to get around.  It is what fuels M&F as we tour the streets of LA most of the time, a one dog power engine.~

Bumblebee paints a new wall of a boy laying down on a skateboard getting pulled by a Dalmatian puppy.  We usually stand up on the board, but laying down must be quite a ride!

This is the same location where Teacher's ebox was recently spotted, and the ebox was last glimpsed sitting right behind the white fence. . .

Worst Buff Job Ever . . .

Came up on this and it looked like the worst buff job ever.  Before it got buffed, this spot was a cool stencil featuring a boy playing with a model airplane, and the lines trace the track of the swoops and turns of a young boy having fun with his toy.

M&F liked the piece so much that we mentioned it was not a Banksy, but almost as cool.

Well, it was surprising to find that the boy had been buffed over, but instead of painting the wall, the buffmen had traced the entire path of the young boy.  So instead of the viewer seeing the content of the piece, all it was was a white meaningless blur that still took up the entire wall.

A half hour or so after spotting this awful buff job, M&F swung back by the same spot and noticed some painters were getting ready to paint the building.  When asked about the white buff, the painters explained that the white was just primer over the piece and now they were getting ready to paint the entire wall over again.

They added, smiling, that it was a really cool piece and started to describe the boy and the airplane.  The buffmen said that they too preferred the art on the wall. . .

The Sandusky Showers

Another biting piece of street art social comedy--and commentary from Bumboy WC.

This piece is entitled the Sandusky Showers, and features the convicted Penn State coach creeplily hanging out in the showers.

Shots taken in front of a dad properly dragging his son away from Sandusky.  Makes you laugh and cringe at the same time.
