More New Banksy Street Art in LA - Charlie Brown (pt 1/2)
Banksy is up to more mischief in Los Angeles.
Click the jump below for more exclusive Banksy footage from MELROSEandFAIRFAX
Banksy brings out a Charlie Brown stencil holding a can of gas, about to pour.
We are not sure exactly what this piece is about, but we thought a shot staged with Qtip, the top Street Art Cat, really brings it to life.
***Ah, yes. An alert reader pointed out in the comments that this building has been burned, and there are clear singe marks coming out from under the boards on the front of the building. Thus, Charlie playing with fire. Thanks for the heads up***
***Big thanks to 'X' for the tip on the location of this new piece. He could help show Banksy around the rooftops of Los Angeles. Who knows, maybe he already is . . . ***
***This is located on Sunset Blvd in on the Sunset Strip, across the street from Pink Dot***

if you look at the front of the building its been burned out. I was gonna do the same thing 3 months ago...but Mom wouldn't let me out of the house.
ReplyDeleteya mean pinkdot
ReplyDeletePretty clever. not quite fully satisfied though.
ReplyDeleteis that why there is an X on the gas can?
ReplyDeleteI believe the "x" on the gas can is part of its product design, not aesthetics.
